This coffee grows in the village of Boa Esperança in Sul de Minas, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

30% of Brazilian coffee grows in this region because of the mild climate with an average temperature of 23°C, at an altitude of 930 metres above sea level. This naturally processed Catuaí, Mundo Novo and Topázio is produced by the Dos Costas cooperative. Dos Costas is a cooperative of several coffee farming families, founded in 1989.

I like to roast this coffee for espresso or milk coffees due to its balance and pronounced sweetness. It is also very pleasant and full-bodied in the French Press and in the Bialetti espresso maker – both with notes of nut and chocolate.
